CTO of Intellectsoft Yevhen Kulinichenko: The history of charity and support of the volunteer center “VatagaUA”
War in Ukraine has confronted us with numerous challenges and difficulties, making solidarity and mutual assistance paramount values. The power of connections and good intentions knows no bounds. In this story, this was manifested through the Chief Technology Officer in Intellectsoft Yevhen Kulinichenko’s acquaintance with Elena Negur, whose connections and experience in the field of charity helped organize this important project. The volunteer center “VatagaUA” was chosen as the recipient of assistance since it specializes in training FPV drone operators to perform various front-line tasks. The first step in this project was to allocate three MacBook computers from Intellectsoft resources. These computers were needed to train future drone operators and process data. However, preparing Intellectsoft’s equipment for use in the volunteer center required significant effort. Firmware and installation of specialized software on these MacBooks turned out to be a difficult task. The software for managing combat drones, which needed to be installed on MacBooks, didn't function properly without a joystick. Interestingly, the joystick that Yevhen Kulinichenko brought from home refused to connect to the MacBooks. However, thanks to the expertise and resourcefulness of Andrii Verbenko, IT Infrastructure Manager at Intellectsoft, this process was completed. The results of this work were met with gratitude and recognition from the team of the "VatagaUA" Charitable Organization.
